Astro Technologies, Inc. is a warehouse robotics company based in Pasadena. They program and supply robots to unload cargo containers in warehouses, with the aim of making unloading cargo safer and more efficient. We sat down with CEO Morgan Chan to celebrate his company’s new status as an EmployABILITY Champion and learn what that means to him.
What can you tell us about Astro Technologies?
Well, I officially started the company in 2021, but I’ve been working at something along these lines for about 15 years. What made me officially start Astro Technologies is the demand I see for robotics. It is increasing all the time. I now have eight employees that consist of engineers and technicians. We need people to develop and maintain the hardware and software of the robots and people to train companies in how to use the robots and to repair the robots. I think the future is very bright for this industry in general and for Astro Technologies in particular. And this grant is definitely helping us grow!
How do you plan to use EmployABILITY Business Grant to grow your business?
